NOTICE OF LIBERTY TOWNSHIP INTENT TO SELL PERSONAL PROPERTY BY INTERNET AUCTION
On June 4, 2018, the Board of Trustees of Liberty Township adopted a Resolution pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 505.10 determining to sell by internet auction personal property which is unneeded, obsolete or unfit for Township use. Liberty Township is contracting with GovDeals, Inc. to act as its representative to auction the property through the www.govdeals.com website. All property will be sold to the highest bidder “As-Is, Where-Is” with NO warranty. All vehicles will be sold with a Salvage Title. Items will be offered for sale for a minimum of ten calendar days. Please read the Online Sales, Terms and Conditions prior to bidding. A 12.5% Buyer’s Premium will be added to each winning bid.

Sealed bids for the Country Club Dr. Resurfacing for the LIBERTY TOWNSHIP Trustees of Trumbull County, Ohio, will be received by the Township Fiscal Officer of LIBERTY, State of Ohio, until 11:00 a.m. time, on the 13th of July, 2018 and shall be opened and read on the same day thereafter.
Copies of the Specifications and Plans are on file in the office of the Fiscal Officer of Township Trustees where they may be obtained (or examined) upon the payment of $10 dollars ($10.00), to cover the cost of printing 7:00 a.m. – 3 p.m. M-F.

Bids must be made on the Bid Blank prescribed by the Trustees and shall be filed in a sealed envelope at the time and place hereinbefore designated. Each bid shall contain the full name and address of each person or company (with the names of all parties interested therein) submitting said bid and shall be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond, in accordance with section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code.
All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, and Governor’s Executive Order 84-9 shall be required.
Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Trumbull County, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration, 614.644.2239.
The attention of the bidders is directed to the requirement that each proposal must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit duly signed by the bidder.
The Township Trustees reserve the right to reject any or all bids, and to delete any part of the proposal herein.
Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than October 31, 2018.

Liberty Township Road Department is seeking part-time seasonal laborers to help maintain roads and roadways, road projects, & able to lift 70 lbs. under the supervision of the Senior Road Foreman or group leader.
Approximately 25 hours a week at $11.83 per hour – no benefits. This is a Teamster union or fair share employee and an Ohio Public Employee position. Individual must pass a pre-employment drug test.
A Class-A CDL license is not required, but is welcomed. Individual must be 18 years or older, have a high school diploma or GED.

The Trustees meetings changes are as follows:
The Board of Liberty Township Trustees shall conduct its meetings in full compliance with the Ohio Sunshine Law and accordingly establishes the following rules for the scheduling and notice of all meetings:
I. REGULAR MEETINGS – The Board of Trustees will convene one (1) Caucus/Regular scheduled meeting of the Board of Trustees per calendar month held on the 3rd Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. for the Caucus and 7:00 p.m. for the Regular portion of the meeting.
II. Every Thursday at 7:30 a.m. the Board will meet in a Caucus Session.
Unless an emergency, no action will be taken.
III. Regular Meetings shall be posted on the Township Electronic Board with the following NO REGULAR EVENING MEETING WILL BE HELD IN AUGUST.
(A ) – REGULAR MEETING OPEN CAUCUS – The first half (1/2) hour of each regular township meeting shall be set aside as an open Trustee Caucus for the purpose of discussion, deliberation and information gathering on township matters.
IV. SPECIAL MEETINGS – Notice of special meetings of the Board of Trustees shall be given by posting advanced written notice of the same in a conspicuous place outside the Township Hall on a bulletin board or sign provided for that purpose. Additionally, notice of all special meeting shall be given to the Youngstown Vindicator, Warren Tribune Chronicle and any other newspaper or media that requests the same at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting, except in an emergency in which case the notices shall be given as soon as practicable.
Additionally, the Township will provide advance written notice of special meetings to anyone who provides the Township with pre-paid postage, self-addressed envelopes or post cards.
