NOTICE OF LIBERTY TOWNSHIP INTENT TO SELL PERSONAL PROPERTY BY INTERNET AUCTION
On June 4, 2018, the Board of Trustees of Liberty Township adopted a Resolution pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 505.10 determining to sell by internet auction personal property which is unneeded, obsolete or unfit for Township use. Liberty Township is contracting with GovDeals, Inc. to act as its representative to auction the property through the www.govdeals.com website. All property will be sold to the highest bidder “As-Is, Where-Is” with NO warranty. All vehicles will be sold with a Salvage Title. Items will be offered for sale for a minimum of ten calendar days. Please read the Online Sales, Terms and Conditions prior to bidding. A 12.5% Buyer’s Premium will be added to each winning bid.

Liberty Township Road Department is seeking part-time seasonal laborers to help maintain roads and roadways, road projects, & able to lift 70 lbs. under the supervision of the Senior Road Foreman or group leader.
Approximately 25 hours a week at $11.83 per hour – no benefits. This is a Teamster union or fair share employee and an Ohio Public Employee position. Individual must pass a pre-employment drug test.
A Class-A CDL license is not required, but is welcomed. Individual must be 18 years or older, have a high school diploma or GED.

The Trustees meetings changes are as follows:
The Board of Liberty Township Trustees shall conduct its meetings in full compliance with the Ohio Sunshine Law and accordingly establishes the following rules for the scheduling and notice of all meetings:
REGULAR MEETINGS – The Board of Trustees will hold Regular evening meetings on the third (3rd) Monday of every month beginning at 6:30 p.m. starting March 18, 2019. During the beginning of the meeting, members of the Public are invited to address the Board of Trustees regarding any issue of concern. The Board of Trustees will also hold Regular morning meetings every Thursday morning beginning at 7:30 a.m. except for January 31, 2019 (Columbus Conference) and November 28, 2019 (Thanksgiving). Notice of the Regular Meetings and any changes to the meeting schedule will be posted on the Township electronic signboard and Township website. Because the 3rd Monday in February (Feb. 18th) is Presidents Day, the February Meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 19th, 2019.
SPECIAL MEETINGS – Notice of special meetings of the Board of Trustees shall be given by posting notice of the meeting on the Township electronic signboard, Township website, and in a conspicuous place outside the Township Hall on a bulletin board or sign provided for that purpose. Notice of all special meetings shall be given to the Youngstown Vindicator, Warren Tribune Chronicle and any other newspaper or media that requests the same at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting, except in an emergency in which case the notices shall be given as soon as practicable. Additionally, the Township will provide advance notice of special meetings to anyone who provides the Township with postage pre-paid, self-addressed postcards or email address.
